We are having a brilliant Autumn up north with lots of sunshine and clear blue skies - hardly cold enough to light a fire yet! A couple of exhibitions are coming up that are well worth having a look at on Queens Birthday Weekend. So if you are up in the Bay of Islands for a break make sure you take a peek! (I have work showing in both exhibitions)
At the Copthorne Waitangi Art Show North is having its 1st annual exhibition opening night Friday 4th June and continuing until Monday 7th June. This will have a large variety of art from Northlands local artists and school students.
On the same weekend running for 3 weeks will be the Matariki Art trail which is held in 7 Galleries in the Kerikeri district. Start at Hot Ginger Gallery which is also having a sale with 20% off many of the current stock.
I have a bit of time to play with the clay now our Party Hire business is wound down to winter trade. Have just made a baby in a bear suit which still needs to be bisque fired and glazed - very cute I think!!
